Magnetic Sign Care and Instructions

Clean and wax vehicle. Clean magnetic material on side which sticks to vehicle.
Make sure all surfaces are dry before application.

The magnetic sign should have no air gaps. Full contact is needed. If signs are cold, warm them to at least 60 degrees before applying to allow the signs to contour to the vehicle and not bow or allow pockets.

Place the magnetic on the vehicle using one edge of the sign and then allow the remainder of the sign to make contact. This will also help with air pocket removal.

Do not cover plastic or fiberglass repairs, moldings, vents, or other protruding objects. Don’t apply to newly painted surfaces. All the paint at least 3 months to dry and cure.

Maintenance:
Remove magnet at least once every few days and clean area.
Use a mild detergent in warm water to clean the vinyl surface of the sign.
On rainy or humid days remove the magnetic signs.
Keep a good coat of wax on the steel surface. Do not lay magnetic signs on pavement or concrete, as debris may adhere to surface, causing potential damage to your vehicle.

Storage:
For best results, store magnetic pieces flat or in rolls. When storing in rolls, wrap coated surface on the outside to avoid the possibility of wrinkles. Make sure the inside diameter of the rolls is no less than 3”
