Do a final inspection before you finalize the purchase of a home.

It sometimes takes a long time to finally purchase your home once the operation to purchase has started. Loans must be made, seller and you must agree on terms or what stays, and finally price. Things could change with your prospective purchase.  Something could have gotten damaged or worse. Below are a few items to look for before you close the sale.

  1. Roof and Gutters.
  2. Windows - breakage, locks and operation.
  3. Doors - Locks, operation, and also doors for cabinets, etc.
  4. Air, heating, water pressure, drains, faucets, commodes, garbage disposal, etc.
  5. Electrical outlets, switches, and any appliances you are purchasing.
  6. Any cosmetic features exterior and interior.

If anything has changed, be sure and make notes to reach and agreement before you close because it is too late afterwards unless some warranty or agreement is made before the sale.
